How To Download YouTube Videos

  1. Enter the YouTube Video URL
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9Tu5CPVoP8
  2. Click the Download & Save button
  3. Save the video with a file name like “MyVideo.flv”
  4. Use GOMPlayer or FLV Player to play the file.

Note :- YouTube by default gives the filename as get_video. Please save the file as “Videoname.flv”. You can also rename the file after saving it as a .flv file so that the player can open it correctly.

Improving the Video Downloader

Since there has been so many hits on this page, I thought maybe we could improve the script so that it can support multiple video sites, like MetaCafe, Revver, etc.

Such a script would cost about 47$ to buy. So if anyone is willing to support, ChipIn and once the amount is collected, I will install the new script. Even the smallest amount counts !
