WordPress 2.3.2 released

WordPressWordPress has released version 2.3.2 and it is highly recommended that you upgrade to the latest version.

This version fixes a bug that could be exploited to expose your draft posts. It also suppresses error messages that could disclose your database table structure and limits. This used to happen when a plugin was incompatible and error messages showed up. Hmm we needed to see the error to know if something was working or not, now we won’t know.

The update also allows you to define a custom DB error page which can be displayed if wordpress has a problem connecting to the database. You may place your custom template at wp-content/db-error.php.

If you are upgrading from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 the upgrade is very fast as it doesn’t seem to change much to the database.

The latest version of WordPress is available here.
