Download YouTube Videos using TechiePortal

There have been many services that let you download YouTube Videos but most of them stop working after some time.

Hence I decided to implement a tool to allow readers to download YouTube Videos using TechiePortal.

Just enter the YouTube Video URL and it will let you save the flv file directly to your computer.

The service can be accessed from the navigation bar on top of this site or by clicking here.

Its a php script that allows you to download the youtube file. Unfortunately youtube stopped giving the correct files name so manual file naming is required.

Can I download other videos from metacafe etc., using this tool?

Honestly I only know the basics of php. This script only supports Youtube as of now. Though I hope to buy a paid script that supports other sites if there is good response.
